Released Queen. Portrait of Elizabeth II. Prints

This project is entitled “Released Queen”. It presents his particular vision of Queen Elizabeth II after her recent death, but with her youthful face, variations that refer to oriental art/culture and that may remind one of a Yokai or spectro-Japanese.

What I have sought, like a detective, is to search my own artistic practice for the formal characteristics that define me.

Patterns, textiles, tattoos, waves and organic Japanese elements, nourish the references that can be read when observing the work and that represent the maritime connection of her reign on 3 continents. The age of the regent and her pose iconically evoke a pound sterling, a symbol of the splendour, power and glory of her lineage, culminating in a halo of hair as a crown.

In short, this illustration is intended to deepen the line, the fantasy, the symbolism and the search for beauty, sometimes a little dark and mystical, of my previous work.

Artwork printed on a paper with a consistent thickness in the hand, and a high-resolution surface with a matt finish that makes it easy to appreciate every last detail of the work without losing sharpness.

This prints will be packed in a sealed cello bag and a rigid cardboard envelope with a plasterboard sheet inside following high security standards, thus ensuring its sealing, protection and isolation from external elements with the maximum guarantees for its shipment and reception. Shipments are sent by registered mail hand-signed on the front, numbered and stamped at back by the author. A certificate of authenticity sheet will be sent with the artwork, and it will also be sent by email digitally signed by the artist. You will receive an email with the tracking number as soon as the order is shipped, within 1 to 3 days.

Technique: digital painting. Procreate and Ipad.
Support: high quality print in 350 g matt couché paper. Full bleed printing without watermarks.
Print sizes:
Big. A3 (11.7 x 16.5 in. / 29.7 x 42 cm.). Excellent size to show off this print on the wall of any room and enjoy in detail every moment of the work, its exact size is the equivalent of joining two sheets of paper.
Normal. A4 (8.3 x 11.7 in. / 21 x 29.7 cm.). Ideal size for collecting or displaying on the wall with sufficient detail, its size is that of a standard sheet of paper.
Small. A6 (10,5 × 14,8 cm 41.3 x 58.26). Small size to enjoy in your hand, its dimensions are those of a postcard.
